Employability and Skills Team
Dumfries and Galloway Council Employability and Skills Team provides support for people who have certain barriers that make it difficult to gain employment or improve current employment circumstances.
You can contact the team on 01387 260060 or email dgemployability@dumgal.gov.uk to find out if you are eligible for their support. And even if they can't help they'll put you in touch with someone who can.

Real living wage employers
The Real Living Wage is £12.00 per hour (18 and over). It's higher than the National Living Wage and is voluntarily paid by some employers.
